What it costs, and how moving in works
No enquiry form gatekeeping and no 'prices on application'. The weekly rates below are the ones we publish.

Private rates
The same rate applies whether the stay is residential or dementia care. Ground-floor rooms carry a small premium.

How it works
Ring us, or just turn up
Most families start with a phone call. Tell us roughly what is happening and we will tell you honestly whether we have a room and whether we are the right home. If we are not, we will usually know who is.
Come and look round
Bring whoever needs to see it. Stay for a cup of tea, look at a bedroom, see the lounges at a normal time of day rather than a scheduled showpiece hour.
We come and assess
Before anyone moves in we visit — at home, in hospital or at another home — to understand what care is actually needed, so nobody arrives to a place that cannot meet their needs.
Moving in, and the first few weeks
A full care plan is developed with family members during the first few days and weeks, so preferential routines and tastes are catered to. Residents are encouraged to bring their own memorabilia and cherished belongings with which to decorate the room.

Residential care
Long-term care with permanent assistance given throughout the day and night.
Dementia care
A 29-bed home specialising in supporting individuals living with dementia.
Respite care
A dedicated respite bedroom, so dates can be booked well in advance.
The home is registered for 31 people, with 15 en-suite bedrooms and a dedicated respite room that can be booked in advance.
Come and see the place
The best way to judge a care home is to walk into it unannounced at eleven o'clock on a Tuesday. You are welcome to do exactly that — or call and we will find a time that suits.
