27 single rooms, two doubles, and three lounges to choose from

Stoneacre Lodge is registered to provide care for 31 people. 15 of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities; all have a washbasin and a nurse call alarm.

Bedrooms

Each of the bedrooms are individually characterised and are colourful. Residents are encouraged to bring their own memorabilia and cherished belongings with which to decorate the room. All bedrooms have washbasins and commodes if required and each bedroom is equipped with a nurse call alarm system.

Dining

The cooks at Stoneacre Lodge provide nutritional, tasty and varied meals and desserts; all dietary needs are catered for and assistance is at hand if required. A resident can either eat in the comfort of the dining room or in the privacy of their own room.

Gardens

The Home has well tended gardens and suitable garden furniture for residents and their visitors to enjoy the pleasant surroundings. Our home is surrounded by well-maintained gardens, including accessible outdoor spaces and raised flower beds, allowing residents to enjoy fresh air and take part in gardening activities.

We believe that keeping the mind and body stimulated and active significantly improves overall wellbeing. Stoneacre Lodge encourages a sense of community and social inclusion, with birthdays, parties, celebrations and events constantly occurring. Visits from the local pastor, choir sessions by children from our local school, mobile libraries and organised mobility classes (including chair Zumba) all add to daily life at Stoneacre Lodge. The Home employs a dedicated activities co-ordinator.
